It has been Nearly 13 years that I have had the privilege of being a muse to countless artists in Oregon and Vancouver. I have decided to end my career and move on to other exciting things. Before I do that I wish very much to show my gratitude. I am throwing this little gathering as a way to thank my wonderful patrons, you, who have blessed me with work and the honor of witnessing you practice. Some of you I have known for over a decade other far shorter. So I thought to my self that it is very interesting that many groups and individuals I work with in Portland do not cross-pollinate. So as my last gift to you, my artists and patrons, I would like to celibate the work which I inspired and your talents by having a pop-up gallery, by baking you a cake and enjoying one last afternoon with you all.
I hope this will be a good opportunity for you to see some wonderful art, meet some of the most wonderful artist and people I know, and to also connect with new models that may be replacements for me. I have asked several to join us with their business cards in hand. If you haven’t been to Hipbone yet this is also a good opportunity to see the wonderful environment and community Jeff the owner has created. I hope my small gesture will convey my true gratitude to you all. I have always said that in the studio a real muse must hold a nurturing openness and love towards the artist they serve. I have and it has been immensely rewarding.
I will miss you all.
